Terms of Use

These terms apply to access to and use of materials on the Shadowrocket iPhone Guide. This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual, with guidance on verifying, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the app. No proxy nodes or subscriptions are provided.

1. Scope and nature of the materials

Our guidance is based on information that can be verified in the App Store listing and in the app. It is intended to help users understand how to operate and configure Shadowrocket. This manual does not guarantee availability for any particular network, device, or business use, and does not replace the app’s license agreement or App Store purchase terms.

Read the relevant guidance before taking action, and check it against the interface on your device. App features, interface layouts, and system permissions may change. If the manual differs from the current app, pause any uncertain steps and follow the app and its App Store listing.

2. Responsible use and user obligations

Users must comply with applicable laws and regulations where they are located and wherever their activities take place. Use the app and materials only for lawful purposes and where you have the necessary authorization. Do not use related features for illegal activities, to violate others’ privacy or intellectual property rights, to compromise network or data security, or to disrupt the normal operation of another person’s systems.

Importing configurations assumes that users already have their own subscription or server details. Users are responsible for confirming their authorization, checking configuration contents, and safeguarding access credentials. Subscription URLs, QR codes, and configuration files may contain sensitive information. Do not share them publicly or give them to unknown parties.

3. Purchases and service boundaries

Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app for Apple platforms, primarily iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to purchase and install it. Check the App Store listing for pricing, system requirements, compatibility, and purchase eligibility. See the Download Guide for verification and device information.

A one-time app purchase ≠ a proxy service subscription. Buying the app does not include a server, subscription, or proxy service. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy nodes or subscriptions. Payments, refunds, and restoring purchases are handled under the applicable App Store policies. This manual does not process transactions or guarantee refunds.

4. Availability and data responsibility

Network conditions, server configurations, system permissions, and user actions can all affect connection results. We do not guarantee that the app or any proxy service will remain available, or that a particular configuration will work in every environment. Results from Connectivity Test and similar features are for troubleshooting only; they do not guarantee future connections or access to services.

To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for unavailability, data loss, or indirect losses resulting from following the guidance, configuration errors, connection interruptions, or changes to external services. Before deleting, replacing, or bulk-updating configurations, users should make their own backups and confirm how to restore them. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

5. Intellectual property and use of materials

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related app materials belong to its developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, or their respective rights holders. This site displays the official icon and uses interface terms and instructions to identify the product and explain the official manual. Nothing here transfers any trademark or app rights to visitors.

Users may consult this site for personal learning. When quoting text, credit the source and preserve its meaning. Reproducing, redistributing, or using materials commercially is subject to applicable law and any required permissions. Do not alter attribution or remove context in a way that misrepresents the source, functionality, or allocation of responsibility.

6. Changes to these terms and finding help

We may revise these terms to meet legal requirements or to reflect app changes or updates to our materials. The complete text and month of revision will be posted on this page. The revised terms apply to site use from the date of publication. Where separate notice is legally required, we will provide it accordingly. No revision will retroactively diminish rights users have under applicable law.

For help with using the app, first see Getting Started and its troubleshooting guidance. For server and subscription management, see Server Management. If instructions differ from the app, check the current interface first, and do not delete or overwrite configurations until you have resolved any questions.
